About the role
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Engagement Officer to join our Growth team. The primary function of this role is to identify new business opportunities through prospecting and also support new/existing client relationships, building trust and excellent client experiences. This individual plays a key role in driving brand awareness, securing introductory meetings for product demos, fostering positive relationships between the organisation and stakeholders through the entire sales cycle, and expanding our client base.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Growth, this is a remote-based role.
Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound telemarketing calls to identify and engage with potential clients in target markets
- KPI: generating qualified leads for business development
- Deliver compelling introductions of Urban CGI’s services, emphasising the value and benefits of our CGI and visualisation solutions
- Research prospects to personalise your communications
- Schedule and coordinate client meetings for potential clients with our sales team
- Draft and send meeting recaps and follow-up emails
- Set up internal preparatory sessions/agenda prior to the client meetings
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop customised proposals/solutions for clients and address their needs
- Maintain detailed Salesforce records of calls, including call outcomes, client feedback, and follow-up actions, in the CRM system
- Provide invoicing support by tracking and following up on outstanding invoices and payments, resolving any issues or discrepancies and ensuring all invoicing activities are logged and tracked with Accounts Payable
- Conduct research and gather feedback to assess prospect’s needs and preferences
- Serve as a point of contact for stakeholders, addressing inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Work closely with the Marketing team to refine call scripts and approaches based on target market insights and campaign objectives
- Stay informed about Urban CGI’s services, industry trends, and competitive landscape to effectively communicate our value proposition
- Achieve and exceed assigned targets for calls made, meetings scheduled, and other relevant performance metrics
- Provide feedback to the sales and marketing teams on potential client needs, market trends, and opportunities for improving our outreach strategies
Skills and Requirements
- 2+ years’ experience in telemarketing, sales, or a similar role, preferably in a B2B environment
- Excellent communication, verbal and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and persuade potential clients
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach and a strong commitment to meeting targets
- Familiarity with CRM systems and proficient in managing and tracking sales activities
- Knowledge of the CGI, visualisation, or related industries is a plus
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
