What’s the opportunity?
The Head of Customer Growth – Enterprise & Health Systems is a senior leadership role focused on driving revenue growth and expanding market share while ensuring a top-notch customer experience. This role involves leading a team of sales and account professionals, developing and implementing sales and account strategies, and managing relationships with enterprises and clients across various regions. The position aims to enhance commercial excellence and maximize the impact of Telstra Health’s products, solutions, and services.
Key responsibilities:
- Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with key government entities, customers, and partners to ensure positive experiences and drive sector growth.
- Lead organisational efforts by communicating industry trends, innovations, and contributing to Telstra Health’s broader strategy as part of the Sales, Marketing & Communication leadership team.
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet business objectives and targets for enterprises and organisations, including identifying and closing sales opportunities.
- Collaborate with leaders and executives to expand and manage key accounts, engaging with senior customer representatives.
- Identify and propose new business deals by exploring potential partnerships, evaluating market trends, and creating data-driven business cases.
- Maintain strong relationships with key customers to address needs, drive growth, and explore new business opportunities.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators and sales targets, providing regular feedback and support to team members.
- Lead and close new business deals, managing negotiations, contract finalisation, and launch activities.
- Develop and lead a high-performing sales and accounts team, promoting a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Provide mentorship, feedback, and coaching to enhance team members' capabilities and confidence.
Skills and experience:
- Extensive experience (5-10+ years) in managing strategic partnerships and high-value sales across enterprises, industry, and government sectors in Australia.
- Strong executive leadership skills with experience engaging C-suite executives and Boards, supported by a deep network of industry relationships.
- Proven expertise in sales and account management, with a track record of identifying opportunities and driving adoption of new technologies.
- Demonstrated success in collaborating with diverse stakeholders to meet organisational goals and enhance financial performance.
- Experience leading high-performing sales teams, fostering positive relationships, and supporting team development.
- Exceptional customer focus and relationship management skills.
- Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to produce professional reports and proposals.
- Proven ability to develop new business models and achieve revenue and sales targets.
