We are currently seeking a Finance and Administration Manager for an established business operating in the mining and resources sector. Based in Newstead, this is a small business but one with interesting operations and a number of international entities.
This extremely varied role will report to an experienced CFO and will see you take responsibility for finance, banking and treasury, payroll and administration.
Tasks will include:
- Preparation of monthly and annual financial reporting for a variety of entities
- Group balance sheet reconciliations
- Monthly consolidated management accounts
- Coordination of invoicing including a small number of international invoices
- Management of banking, reconciliations and cash forecasts
- Joint venture cash forecasts
- Preparation of payroll, payroll tax and superannuation
- Preparation of BAS and FBT
- Liaison with auditors across international entities
- General office administration, equipment procurement and IT coordination
Skills and experience:
- Existing experience in a broad finance and admin management capacity
- Qualified CA/CPA or equivalent
- Strong understanding of accounting standards and preparation of financial statements
- Exposure to international entities will be valuable but training and support can be provided
- A can-do attitude, and enjoyment of wearing various hats within a small business.
