About the company: Our client is a leading aged care provider, offering a range of facilities, including retirement living. They are committed to providing a supportive and dynamic working environment where your expertise will make a real impact.
Key Responsibilities: - Develop and manage monthly forecasts and budgets for our retirement living facilities. Provide detailed commentary to support financial decision-making.
- Conduct a thorough analysis of financial data, identifying trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Present findings to senior management and stakeholders.
- Oversee and manage stock reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Utilise your expertise in Power BI to create and maintain dynamic reports that drive actionable insights.
- Manage and complete unit settlements, including the sale of units and resident refund calculations.
- Work closely with operational teams to ensure financial goals align with overall business objectives.
About You: - Proven experience as a Management Accountant within the retirement living or aged care sector is essential.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and Power BI.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
