An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a not for profit organisation which provides educational services for Indigenous and Torres Strait Island children. As the organisation expands, this role has been created to provide further support to the Finance Manager.
This is a broad and hands-on role including the following:
- Provide support for month end processes including journal entries, accruals, prepayments
- Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations
- Maintain the fixed asset register
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Processing and management or payroll (training can be provided)
- Reconcile corporate credit card transactions
- Maintain accurate records in line with organisational policies
- Assist with financial statement preparation and analysis
- Assist with ad hoc tasks and projects as required
Candidates should be degree qualified in Accounting or similar. Further studies towards CA/CPA are desirable but not essential. Experience with Xero is beneficial and prior use of Employment Hero would be a great though not necessary.
