Your New Role -- Import/Export Operations & Customer Care
As an Import/Export Operations & Customer Care professional, your role may evolve to align with the overall objectives of the company. You may also be required to fulfill additional duties as requested by management or other departments
- Registration of Import & Export shipments (as required).
- Daily order management and updating clients of current status.
- Daily shipment tracking and updating clients of current status.
- Provide visibility to client and overseas partners via status reports, emails, and phone calls.
- Complete accurate invoicing and data entry.
- Approve and post vendor invoices for payment in CargoWise.
- Arrange transport (AIR, FCL, LCL and Domestic)
- Action and respond to all emails daily.
- Prepare detailed and accurate proposals in CargoWise within KPI’s.
- Maintain and update existing client proposals/rates on a monthly basis in CargoWise.
- Prepare DAP/DDP proposals for our agents/partners as required.
- Completing and actioning the task lists daily in CargoWise.
- Mentor team in Manila.
- Problem solve and look for solutions.
- Completion of WIN weekly.
What you'll need to succeed
- Experienced with programmes such as CargoWise, ICS, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Need to be a CargoWise Specialist Certified
- Import/Export Operations & Customer Care experience
- Knowledge of all aspects of Freight Forwarding, Customs and Quarantine procedures.
- Customer service focused to deliver on company Values & Vision
- The ability to communicate clearly and concisely, varying communication style depending upon the audience.
- Excellent attention to detail and written skills when communicating with others, both internally and externally.
- Ability to apply knowledge in a practical, commercial manner.
- Willingness to assist and support others as required and get on with team members.
- Accomplish objectives effectively within time frame given and carry out administrative duties within portfolio in an efficient and timely manner.
