Process applications: 2 to 3 months temp role
Our client is seeking a candidate with a strong customer service focus to provide assistance in providing information to members of the public, industry, and representatives to understand their administrative responsibilities under the EP Act.
You will:
- Manage multiple tasks and timeframes.
- Identify and resolve conflict situations if they occur.
- Ensure the relevant fees and charges for new applications and existing authorisations are processed in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
- Provide accurate and timely advice/assistance to internal and external stakeholders at all levels on matters relating to the grant, review, and renewal of environmental authorisations.
- Actively participate in licensing system improvements and testing procedures that comply with State Government systems, policies, and procedures.
- Contribute to the accurate, efficient, and timely grant, review, and renewal of environmental authorisations (licences, exemptions, and works approvals).
Suitable candidates will have:
- Experience in providing support and high level customer service to stakeholders.
- A proven ability to work and contribute effectively in a team environment.
- Experience in developing and maintaining sound working relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- The ability to work across all work disciplines to disseminate and present information to a wide range of people, including members of the public.
You will be a person who demonstrates drive, initiative, motivation, and organisational skills to achieve timely and quality work outcomes. You will have the capacity to deal with conflict situations, identify and resolve problems, and organise priorities to ensure customer demands are met and workflow is maintained.
