About the role:
Join our dynamic and inclusive team as the National Bids, Grants and Tenders Manager. In this pivotal role, you will lead the entire bid process, from identifying new opportunities to submitting winning proposals. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the creation of high-quality proposals that meet client needs, managing budgets and resources effectively, and ensuring compliance with all RFP requirements and guidelines.
You will coordinate and facilitate bid review meetings, ensuring that key stakeholders provide valuable insights and address any concerns. Additionally, you'll monitor bid performance metrics, analyse win/loss data to identify trends, and conduct post-bid analysis to implement improvements for future bids.
To drive continuous improvement, you’ll refine bid processes, templates, and best practices while staying abreast of industry trends, market insights, and emerging best practices. Your ability to adapt strategies and maintain a competitive edge will be crucial to your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities through market research, competitor analysis and client needs assessment.
- Work with National Business Development Manager Growth & Opportunities to understand how grants/tenders can accelerate growth
- Develop compelling and persuasive bid content, including executive summaries, value propositions, pricing models and technical responses.
- Coordinate and facilitate bid review meetings, ensuring key stakeholders provide input and address concerns or issues.
- Monitor and track bid performance metrics, analysing win/loss data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Conduct post-bid analysis and debrief sessions to identify areas of improvement and implement lessons learned for future bids.
- Continuously refine and improve bid processes, templates and best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market insights and emerging best practices in bid management.

About You:

- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and manage multiple bids simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and high accuracy in bid preparation and review.
- Familiarity with government procurement processes and industry-specific bid requirements (if applicable).
- Engaging personality, well developed presentation, written, verbal and listening skills, including an excellent telephone manner.
- Experience in building and maintaining effective community networks and relationships.
- Self-motivated, accountable and customer focused.
- Excellent computer literacy and confidence and capability in using systems and technology.
- Strong organisational skills, with demonstrated ability to work autonomously and organise and prioritise workload, handle multiple tasks and work efficiently and effectively to deadlines and respond to multiple and diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to create visually appealing and engaging bid presentations.
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
- Experience within the Disability Services Industry and an ability to relate to people from all walks of life.
- Hold current or willingness to obtain relevant regulatory requirements (as per role and/or State).
- A current Australian driver’s licence and the ability to travel intra or interstate from time to time.
