The Role
A top-tier client is currently seeking multiple Desktop Engineers - L1 to join a dynamic team for one of its major key projects. This project is supporting a local government site.
You must be flexible to work extra hours and on the weekend/Public Holidays if required.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform remote or onsite troubleshooting on technical issues (PC or network related).
- Perform hardware swap (PC/Laptop/Peripherals).
- Able to prepare documentation (review/update based on technical findings).
- Local Government Customer Site - Will require someone trustworthy and reliable.
- Able to train and guide others (process and technical basics).
- Punctual and able to work on various tasks (includes moving devices, boxes).
Skills and Experience
- Must have 2+ years of solid desktop L1 support experience.
- Good experience with troubleshooting and able to work alongside the infrastructure team - related to imaging, packaging, Microsoft administration, networking.
- Strong stakeholder/client management experience.
- Previous experience working with a local/state government client is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with the end customer and resolve their issues.
- Attention to detail, punctual.
- Must have full working rights.
- A recent Police check is a bonus.
