The Role
Based at our Yallourn Power Station, this role will serve as a support for the management of records. As part of the information management team, the function is to manage the eDMS (Objective), provide guidance, manage physical records, maintain the safety, health, environment management systems and Quality management systems.
Reporting to the Administration Leader, this role will see you assist with the development and implementation of the Yallourn Records Management End of Life Strategy and manage/maintain physical records across the site. As well as update and maintain the records retention schedule ensuring this is accurate in accordance with EA Corporate Record Retention Schedule and Australian Record Retention Manual.
Key accountabilities will include, but will not be limited to the following activities
- Assist teams with records management requirements including information capture, storage, retrieval, scanning, and archiving.
- Management of physical archive disposal processes in alignment with record retention.
- Assist with maintaining Yallourn records within the document management system (Objective)
- Develop guidance documentation and educate site in records retention
- Site Central liaison with Public Records of Victoria (PROV).
- Develop and implement end of life strategy to maintain for closure
Qualifications and experience will include:
- Record Management System experience, OBJECTIVE (preferred)
- Experience maintaining records retention schedule
- Advanced skills in the use of Microsoft office suite, Electronic document management system (EDMS) and a range of computer programs
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- High organised and methodical approach to tasks
- Ability to work unsupervised and interact with stakeholders
