Peoplebank are recruiting for an experienced IT Support Officer for their Federal Government client, based in Adelaide .
You MUST be an Australian Citizen to be eligible, with an existing baseline security clearance or higher (NV1), a bonus.
To be suitable for this role, you will have 3-5+ years of relevant IT Support experience (a mixture of Level 1 service desk and Level 2 desktop support would be ideal), with excellent communication and troubleshooting skills.
The IT Support Officer will perform a range of IT duties to support internal users across multiple Adelaide CBD offices.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support for the IT Service Desk in Level 1 operations.
- Perform diagnostics for resolution of operating systems, software, and applications.
- Multimedia file and content editing: both Audio & Video.
- Perform routine checks of Server Room Infrastructure and report findings.
You will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of hardware, including:
- Provision new Standard Operating Environment for Laptops, PCs, and perform associated software updates.
- MFDs (multi-function devices).
- Telephones.
- Video Conferencing units.
- Tablets and hand-held devices.
