About Our Client
Our client is an ASX-listed organisation that provides infrastructure services in Australia and New Zealand.
Job Description
- Processing payroll for 1000 employees within deadlines across both Australia and New Zealand
- Creating and maintaining staff personnel files
- Calculating termination benefits and leave entitlements
- Balancing payroll ledger accounts
- Preparing payroll and budget reports
- Ensuring timely ATO and superannuation payments
- Interpreting awards and agreements, assisting with HR administration
- Managing end-of-year payroll processing and STP payment summaries
The Successful Applicant
- 2+ years experience as a Payroll Officer
- Strong understanding of Australian awards and payroll legislation
- Experience using Oracle and proficient in the usage of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Understanding of TIPT/QMS systems highly desirable but not required
