About the role
An opportunity has been created for a senior infrastructure and PPP lawyer to join our client’s in-house legal team. In this critical role, you will be embedded with the business and will support the bidding for and delivery of large infrastructure projects, with a focus on renewable energy.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the project team in negotiations with key partners (including government).
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of project documentation including joint venture and consortium agreements.
- Assisting project risk from a sponsor and contractor perspective.
- Advising on D&C, O&M and procurement contracts.
- Tenders and RFPs.
- Working with and instructing external counsel.
About you
You will be a senior lawyer with significant experience in PPPs and infrastructure. You will have the confidence to work autonomously with the business, providing pragmatic legal advice and support to senior stakeholders. Ideally, you will have 10-12+ years’ PQE; however, our client is open to considering lawyers of other experience levels who have the desired skills and experience.
