Be part of a brand new function within Stan, driving value into the heart of what we deliver to customers. The Delivery Manager will coordinate with a number of development squads and 3rd party partners to implement the product strategy effectively. This role will work directly with Product Managers and Technology Leads, ensuring squads achieve both strategic and tactical objectives set for the business.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Own and manage the product backlog across multiple squads, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Prioritise features based on a clear set of business value criteria, including customer impact, ROI, and alignment with long-term goals.
- Clearly articulate user stories and acceptance criteria to development teams, ensuring clarity and feasibility.
- Ensure the successful delivery of features, adhering to predefined quality standards, budget constraints, and project timelines.
- Foster a collaborative team environment, encouraging open communication and alignment with the overall product vision.
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks throughout the development lifecycle, using established frameworks and tools.
- Monitor, report, and regularly communicate project progress and performance against key metrics and KPIs to stakeholders.
- Manage and optimise technical relationships with vendors and platforms, ensuring seamless integration and value addition.
- Continuously improve product delivery processes by incorporating feedback and adopting best practices in project management and agile methodologies.
- Collaborate with QA teams to ensure product quality, incorporating continuous testing and feedback loops.
- Manage scope changes effectively, maintaining project control while being responsive to evolving business needs.
- Plan and strategise initiatives that are in line with company objectives, balancing short-term wins and long-term vision.
- Define, maintain, and communicate project scope, ensuring alignment with key stakeholders and adjusting as necessary.
- Oversee project timelines, employing adaptive planning techniques to meet changing requirements and targets.
Skills, Experience & Behaviours:
- Strong analytical, planning, and organisational skills, with a proven ability to manage complex projects and cross-functional teams.
- Proficient communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate technical and business concepts clearly.
- Experience with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Trello), and familiarity with agile methodologies.
