We have an exciting opportunity for a Planning Investigations Officer to join the Planning Services Team. This position will provide compliance and customer service expertise in order for Council to carry out its statutory obligations in administering and enforcing the Nillumbik Planning Scheme and Planning and Environment Act 1987.
A typical day will include:
- Promoting compliance within the community.
- Investigating potential breaches of the Nillumbik Planning Scheme, and proactively ensuring compliance with planning permits and the Scheme.
- Preparing evidence to support enforcement actions.
What you'll bring to the role:
- Tertiary qualifications in town planning or regulatory services, and/or experience in the field of planning enforcement.
- Demonstrated experience conducting inspections and investigations.
