Our client is a boutique commercial fit-out company in Sydney. They pride themselves on their personable service to their clients. They are seeking a Project Managing Director to manage a high-performing team of Project Managers to deliver high-end commercial fit-out projects.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Mentor and develop junior project managers.
- Prepare and organise pre-commencement of projects on site, including external and internal inductions.
- Prepare and issue detailed site dilapidation reports before commencement on site.
- Set, prepare, and run weekly PCG meetings with clients, prepare and issue PCG meeting minutes.
- Organise and manage the internal site team for works, project sites, and tasks.
- Manage and track project budgets.
- Attend pre-fit-out meetings with the Sales Team as required.
- Liaise with the designer about changes required on-site or RFI required on plans or documentation.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor of Construction Management.
- Ideally, the candidate should have 10 + years in commercial office fit-out construction.
- The candidate should show exceptional problem-solving skills while keeping people on side and motivated.
- The candidate should be experienced in running a team of PMs and the ability to teach and mentor the team.
