About the role
To support quality improvement and processes in the Dry Production Lines.
Key responsibilities
- Investigation of customer complaints and completion of response to customer.
- Internal investigation of non-conformances and subsequent close out.
- Lead Root Cause Analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
- Participation in traceability activities.
- Complete Glass and Brittle Plastics audits as per schedule.
- Complete GMP audits as per schedule and follow up on actions.
- Calibration of equipment such as thermometers, scales, and other analytical instruments.
- Allergen and ATP swabbing activities.
- Review of analytical data, ensuring all documents have been completed correctly.
- Trend analysis of results to ensure consistent process control.
- Ensuring all computer tasks are completed in time.
- Generating reports as required.
- Any other tasks as requested by quality manager.
Qualifications and skills
- Ideally, a BSc. degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
- Proven problem-solving skills in a factory setting.
- Methodical, well-organized, energetic, with a practical, hands-on approach.
- At least 2 years of experience in the food industry.
- Familiarity with product certification programs like Kosher and Halal.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Capable of driving continuous improvement and managing change initiatives.
- Knowledge of GFSI and GMP systems.
- Experience with SAP is an advantage.
