Our client is a fast-paced accounting firm, located in Brisbane’s CBD. They are currently seeking an Administrator/Receptionist to join their team on a permanent basis! They are looking for an enthusiastic and professional staff member.
About The Role
This role is a varied one and would suit someone who enjoys being kept busy! As an administrator/receptionist, it will be your responsibility to handle all reception duties for the firm as well as assisting with the below:
- Data Entry (tax returns and data for financial statements)
- Preparation and follow up of correspondence on behalf of accountants
- Liaising with ATO - lodging of documents, drafting correspondence and other duties as required
- Liaising with ASIC - including issuing annual company statements, completion of forms as necessary, registering/de-registering of companies
- Managing lodgment of tax returns and BAS
- Maintaining client database
- Invoicing
Skills & Experience
Ideally you will have at least 1 year of experience working in a public practice accounting firm and be eager to utilise your skills. You will also possess the following:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal & written
- You'll be a team player
- The ability to work autonomously & as part of a team with the ability to take personal ownership
- The ability to develop rapport with clients
- Experience using Xero
