Role description:
As the CEO of Agro Business at Brick2wall, you will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of our Agro business. Reporting directly to the Board, you will drive the strategic growth and operational excellence of the Agro business, ensuring profitability and market leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute the division's strategic vision, mission, and objectives, aligning with the company's overall goals and objectives.
2. Lead market analysis and identify opportunities for expansion and growth in the market, including new products, markets, and customer segments.
3. Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors to ensure a reliable and high-quality supply chain.
4. Develop and implement pricing strategies, sales plans, and promotional activities to maximize revenue and market share.
5. Lead negotiations with customers and partners on contracts, agreements, and pricing terms to ensure favorable outcomes for the company.
6. Provide leadership and guidance to the sales team, including recruitment, training, performance management, and professional development.
7. Drive operational excellence and efficiency in processes, logistics, and supply chain management to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
8. Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activities.
9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, finance, and operations, to drive synergy and alignment across the organization.
10. Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to enhance brand visibility, network with key stakeholders, and promote business growth.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, or related field, MBA or equivalent advanced degree strongly preferred.
2. Proven track record of 10+ years in leadership roles, with significant experience in the Agro industry or related sectors.
3. Deep understanding of Agro market dynamics, supply chain management, and customer requirements.
4. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve goals and objectives.
5. Strategic thinker with excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
6. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
