We’re looking for an experienced Trade Document Specialist with savvy interpersonal skills to join our client success team.
A truly cross functional role, the successful candidate will be able to integrate their breadth and depth of knowledge in trade finance and managing incoming client queries
& requests with speed and tact. In this role, the candidate is expected to collaborate
closely with the client and demonstrate our platform’s capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Provide world class client servicing to our clients
- Manage expectations and communication lines between internal and external stakeholders
- Implement solutions to continuously improve Turn Around Time, Accuracy, and all productivity related KPIs as provided by the Chief Operating Officer
- Test the Traydstream platform for new features or modified functions added to our products as per our client’s expectations
- Measure, monitor, and record data related to our clients’ transaction efficiency or efficacy on the Traydstream platform
- Research and recommend creative ideas to address the root cause of functional platform problems
- Propose workable solutions to improve trade document processing times and quality of our client’s transactions within our platform
- Manage checklists and action plans for clients by coordinating and supporting cross functional teams based on urgency and criticality
- Coach and manage clients through the customer life cycle by initiating their trade transactions sets into the platform
- Incorporate trade documentation best practices for our trade officers and clients
Qualifications & Skills
- 4 - 6 Years in Trade Transaction Processing
- Undergraduate or Postgraduate Degree (BBA, BCOM, MBA or equivalent)
- Certified Documentary Credit Specialist (CDCS) - Good to have
- UCP-600, ISBNP
- Knowledge of UCP 600, ISBP 821, URR 725, URC 522 and Incoterms 2020
- Well versed with Trade Finance Products such as Letter of Credit & Documentary Collections, Open account
- Knowledge of SWIFT messages
- Excellent Interpersonal skills including communication, client servicing, and influence & negotiation.

- Superior Problem-Solving Ability
- Strong Understanding of Data Collection & Analysis Techniques
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to work without direct supervision, and efficiently manage tasks and time.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficiency in English
Preferred Abilities
Involved in Automation/ Digitization of Trade Processing
Basic understanding of Technology concepts i.e., Artificial Intelligence. Machine Learning and Cloud Infrastructure
Shifts flexibility: We have clients from US /UK / Australia /Japan and other countries. So, depending on client’s time zone we will have to coordinate.
