Job Description:
Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer to lead the development of our next-generation stabilized Pan Tilt Unit (PTU) platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Mechanical, Control System and Electrical engineering, with a focus on stabilization systems, precision motion control, good understanding of Control System and Robotics. This role requires a hands-on leader who can design, develop, and bring to market advanced PTU systems for various applications, including surveillance, broadcasting, and industrial automation.
Responsibilities:
Lead Design and Development: Oversee the end-to-end design and development of stabilized PTU platforms, ensuring high performance and reliability.
System Integration: Integrate mechanical, electrical, and software components to create cohesive and efficient PTU systems.
Prototyping and Testing: Develop prototypes and conduct rigorous testing to validate system performance and stability.
Innovation: Drive innovation in stabilization technologies, Control Loop Algorithms, and System Architectures.
Project Management: Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets, ensuring on-time and within-scope delivery.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, mechanical engineers, and product managers, to achieve project goals.
Qualifications Education:
Master’s degree of PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a Mechatronics related field.
Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in the design and development of stabilized PTU platforms or similar precision motion control systems.
Technical Skills:
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, control system and electrical design principles.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and simulation tools.
• Experience with motor control systems, sensors, and feedback mechanisms.
• Familiarity with Control algorithms and software development (e.g., C/C++, MATLAB, Python).
