Job Purpose: Complete responsibility of Overall functioning of Laboratory but not Limited to Technical aspects, Cost efficiency, Safety, Environment & Sales
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Sets and achieves department/laboratory goals and results by using ‘best practice’ leadership and management principles and ensuring adherence to organizational procedures, policies, and systems.
- Recruitment, training and skill development for laboratory staff at all levels.
- Technical training for staff and customers as and when needed.
- Planning and Control of Manpower, Machine and Material required for Laboratory functioning.
- To ensure 100% accuracy in testing through the technical solution.
- To resolve all kinds of internal and external technical query
- Ensure Safety measures, environmental conditions and best laboratory practices.
- To assist Customers /Clients for all kinds of technical help/Guidance.
- Ensuring timely and accurate delivery of reports to clients as per Contract.
- Retaining existing Business and Help in developing new Business. - Maintain discipline, Cleanliness in laboratory.
- Effective 10X quality drive to achieve zero error
- Supervising Assistant Managers, Lab Executive, Supervisors and Lab Technicians.
- Contribution in Cost effective measures.
- Create an engaging culture that inspires team to achieve outstanding results.
- Continuously work with his team for business development by identifying new opportunities and developing new services
- Ensuring TAT and PCD of the Laboratory meeting global requirement
- Preparing Lab with 100% comply for the all the audits (NABL & Buyer Audits)
- Document and communicate best practices to the team
- Identify potential customers/ clients for the services to ensure the stability of business
- Managing the equipment and activities AMC in timely manure
- Any other responsibility assigned by Line Manager
Experience: with min of 10 + years’ experience (at least 2 years of experience in supervisory or above level and should have hands on experience physical & performance testing. in Textile Laboratory.)
Education: B.Tech Textiles / Diploma Textiles or Science Graduate
