TEKenable requires a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Consultant for its expanding ERP delivery function. This is a contracting position open to applicants based in India.
The suitable candidate will work as both a functional consultant and a support consultant understanding customer business requirements, converting these into Business Central solution options, and clearly explaining to the customer how their requirement is mapped to a standard or customised solution.
As a support consultant, the suitable candidate will be responsible for providing technical and functional support to users of Dynamics 365 Business Central. This role involves troubleshooting issues, assisting with system configurations, offering user training, and ensuring the smooth operation of the Business Central solution. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Business Central's modules and functionalities, combined with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and its add-on products configuration, support, training, and documentation
- Work with the team (Business central, Power Platform, SharePoint) with experienced colleagues
- Work closely with technical staff to define and document user requirements and solution specifications.
- Provide first and second-level support for Dynamics 365 Business Central issues, including troubleshooting and resolving application problems.
- Diagnose, analyse, and solve functional and technical problems related to Business Central modules (e.g., Finance, Inventory, Sales, etc.)
- Conduct end-user training sessions to enhance understanding of the system’s functionality.
- Assist users with queries related to Business Central functionalities and ensure best practices are followed.
- Assist in system configuration and setup to meet the unique business needs of clients.
- Implement customisations and work closely with development teams when more complex modifications are required.
- Monitor and manage support tickets through a help desk system, ensuring timely resolution and tracking of issues.
- Escalate unresolved issues to senior consultants or developers when necessary.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Monitor the health of Business Central systems, performing routine maintenance and ensuring optimal performance.
- Ensure regular updates and patches are applied without disrupting business operations.
- Provide consulting services and support to Business Central clients.
Experience:
- Strong Dynamics 365 Business Central BC implementation experience. (essential)
- Experienced in the change management process and coordinating with technical resources to create solution design documents.
- Strong Interpersonal skills with ability to support and communicate with users on all levels
- Excellent English, written and Oral
- Excellent problem-solving skills with strong analytical skills
Education:
Relevant third level qualification in Business or IT advantageous but not essential;
Relevant functional and technical accreditations highly desirable.
