Industry Preference: Preferably from Manufacturing/ Retail. AND Textile or apparel company experience is a plus, not necessary.

Job Description:
We are looking for qualified applicants to fill in the position of GM – Finance and Accounts. Applicants must have experience of at least 14+ years in handling finance and accounts department. Applicants having past experience in GST and income tax laws will be preferred.
Key duties and responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Analysis:
1. Lead the development of financial plans, budgets, and forecasts in co-ordination with relevant stakeholders.
2. Analyse financial performance and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
3. Timely MIS reporting to the Management.
Financial Reporting:
1. Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements to the Management.
2. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and other regulatory requirements.
3. Co-ordination with internal and external auditors, liaison with bank and other external stakeholders including Govt. departments.
Cash Flow Management:
1. Manage cash flow effectively, ensuring liquidity for day-to-day operations.
2. Implement measures to optimize working capital and reduce financial risk.
3. Timely realisation of funds from receivables.
4. Supervising the process of vendor payments (which includes invoice receipt, verification, feeding, filing, following-up and tallying) at the central level for managing vendors;
Risk Management:
1. Identify and assess financial risks, proposing and implementing mitigation strategies.
2. Review of contracts and transaction planned to be entered into to ensure all legal, business and compliance risks are discussed, mitigated and agreed.
Compliance and Controls:
1. Ensure compliance with tax regulations, corporate laws, financial laws, FEMA, RBI regulations.
2. Establish and maintain overall internal control within the organisation.
3. Tracking and ensuring closure of all litigations including liaising with external consultants and tax authorities.
Cost Management:
1. Work closely with operational teams to optimize costs and improve overall financial efficiency.
2. Implement cost control measures and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Team Leadership:
1. Provide effective leadership to the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
2. Develop and mentor team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
