Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development & Growth Manager to spearhead our market expansion efforts. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth. You will work closely with our technical teams to develop compelling solutions that address the unique challenges faced by our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to identify and pursue new opportunities in the data engineering, data analytics, and AI/ML market
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients, analyze market trends, and assess competitor offerings
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads through various channels, including networking events, industry conferences, and digital marketing initiatives
- Collaborate with the technical team to develop customized solutions that align with client requirements and demonstrate the value of our offerings
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and demonstrations to prospective clients
- Negotiate and close deals, ensuring alignment with company objectives and client expectations
- Foster long-term relationships with clients, identifying opportunities for account expansion and cross-selling
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to identify new growth opportunities
- Collaborate with marketing to develop targeted campaigns and thought leadership content to drive brand awareness and generate leads
- Provide regular updates and reports on business development activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field (MBA preferred)
- Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or account management within the data, analytics, or AI/ML industry
- Strong understanding of data engineering, data analytics, and AI/ML concepts and their business applications
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with C-level executives and decision-makers
- Experience in developing and executing successful go-to-market strategies
- Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Proficient in using CRM tools and other sales enablement technologies
- Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and industry events
