Position Summary:
The role involves maximizing sales by promoting a diverse range of fine jewelry while consistently delivering exceptional customer service on board.
Job Responsibilities
Sales and Service:
- Leverage sales skills and develop comprehensive product knowledge of fine jewelry and watches to consistently meet and exceed sales targets.
- Provide exceptional customer service at all times, aligning with the company’s expectations.
- Demonstrate confidence and professionalism in closing high-ticket sales.
- Conduct professional seminars on a variety of fine jewelry and watches.
- Coordinate fine jewelry promotions and events.
- Provide timely feedback to the Retail Manager on fast- and slow-selling products.
- Proactively learn about new product ranges to stay updated.
Merchandise and Deliveries:
- Assist with the delivery and manual handling of all retail merchandise, ensuring timely stock replenishment.
- Merchandise fine jewelry according to company guidelines, maintaining shop and window displays to the highest standard.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct daily piece counts in line with the company’s loss prevention program to minimize shrinkage.
- Ensure all merchandise is correctly priced and SKU’d.
- Store back-up merchandise securely, ensuring it is protected from damage.
Loss Prevention and POS:
- Perform accurate perpetual inventory management.
- Ensure that all merchandise is securely locked at all times.
- Accurately process sales through the POS system, with any discounts pre-authorized by the Retail Manager or as per company directive.
- Adhere strictly to the company’s loss prevention program to minimize shrinkage.
