We are seeking experienced and motivated Senior Sales Specialists / Sales Leaders to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance broking, with a proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and building lasting relationships with clients. As a Senior Sales Specialist, you will play a critical role in driving business growth by acquiring new client relationships and expanding our market presence. The role involves business development and the related tasks such as driving growth strategy, lead generation, client C-Suit engagement, client retention and providing service excellence to the clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the insurance broking sector. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive growth and achieve sales targets.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their insurance needs, and providing tailored solutions. Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Sales Strategy: Collaborate with the sales team and management to develop and execute sales strategies that align with company goals. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market conditions to identify new opportunities.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts using CRM tool. Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including placement/underwriting, claims, and operations, to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Masters/ Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in corporate sales/ client acquisition, preferably in the insurance broking industry.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Knowledge of insurance products and services, particularly in Property, Engineering, Marine, Liability etc
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
