We are now in the process of developing and launching a portfolio of organic & natural personal care solutions, under the brand name ‘Camia®.
Camia is largely an e-commerce brand, but it has aspirations to expand its footprint across other relevant channels, while still growing aggressively in the e-commerce space.
Our Portfolio : Ready/ Launched: Handmade soaps, Essential oils, Cold processed oils, Hair serum, Hair oil, Lip balm, Plant-based Squalane
In the pipeline: Soothing & cleansing liquids, bath salts, body butter, face pack, face scrub, face wash, bath gel, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, face serum etc.
Channel Possibilities : Online, Institutions, Hospitality (hotels & resorts), Standalone premium Supermarket stores
Role Description
Strategic Business Objectives:
• Create a portfolio plan, set up long-term milestones for investments, revenue, and monetization
• Review and refine brand strategy to drive brand recognition and reputation of Camia
• Ensure the brand stays true to its purpose always
• Pilot learn and scale up commercial models across standalone premium Supermarket stores, hospitality business and Institutions Marketing:
• Developing and anchoring a multidisciplinary team (internally & externally) as required for best marketing execution
• Ensuring that marketing campaigns are fit for purpose, effective, and engaging
• Identify ongoing growth opportunities within the category & craft suitable marketing interventions and communication plans to tap into them
• Drive consumer relationships to draw insights and aid in product positioning activities
• Communicating marketing objectives/ goals effectively, both within the team and with external agencies to drive accountability and results
• Ensure Strategy execution to improve business performance across digital and offline channels -Drive a variety of tactics - ABM, paid social, SEO, influencer marketing and email marketing - to generate leads and drive pipeline growth. -Oversee through agency/ internally, the execution of a variety of content marketing activities - thought leadership, blogs, web content and videos - ensuring quality & cut through is high -Digital; be responsible for the website traffic & revenues, ensuring content is optimized for SEO, and build our presence across our social channels - , Insta Twitter and Facebook
• Liaise with content writers for product claims, ingredients stories, and benefit summaries • This role works closely with the Sales team to manage client relations and the approval process; creative team and package development team on artwork process, including routing and proofreading; and with all internal cross-functional teams to manage and drive projects internally
• Agree on objectives & goals, Allocate budgets • Align action standards and metrices to track, Institute tracking mechanisms New product stewardship:
• Analyze business, competition and trends to identify product needs, gaps and opportunities
• Manage the development and execution of the category’s new product development process from ideation to launch including (but not limited to) developing briefs based on consumer insights and opportunity, defining objective and strategy, recommending cost of goods and pricing targets and identifying target claims and storytelling
• Work with R&D Chemistry team on the development of new product formulas and creation of lab briefs
• Collaborate with the Engineering and Supply Chain teams to guide and support the sourcing of new packaging options and projects.
• Develop & mentor a team as we progress
Qualifications
We are looking for an MBA with around +14 years of experience in product development & commercialization who can leverage market data, and consumer insights to craft appropriate marketing interventions & GTM strategies. This is a critical position for the company and it will have a significant impact on its growth. You will be leading the conceptualization, development and evaluation of innovative, high quality trending beauty products as well as generating new opportunities for brand growth. You will strongly influence the products we bring to market with your creativity, knowledge and passion for cosmetics/ personal care products. The company is very fast paced and entrepreneurial!
Business problems to solve for: Build Camia into a +30-crore brand in the next 36 months by leveraging cost effective media and channels
Compensation: Fair salary for time spent plus monetizable stakes as a founding member of the company
