Key Responsibilities: - Talent Sourcing:
- Proactively source and identify qualified candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of top IT talent, ensuring a diverse pool of candidates for current and future openings.
- Candidate Screening & Interviewing:
- Conduct thorough screenings of candidates to assess their technical skills, cultural fit, and alignment with the role requirements.
- Coordinate and conduct initial interviews, including technical assessments where applicable, and present qualified candidates to hiring managers.
- Schedule and facilitate interviews between candidates and hiring teams, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for all parties involved.
- Collaboration with Hiring Managers:
- Partner with hiring managers to understand their specific hiring needs, job requirements, and team dynamics.
- Provide guidance and recommendations to hiring managers on market trends, candidate availability, and competitive compensation packages.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to refine job descriptions, role requirements, and interview processes as needed.
- Offer Management & Negotiation:
- Extend job offers to candidates and negotiate terms, including salary, benefits, and start dates, ensuring a win-win outcome for both the candidate and the company.
- Manage the offer acceptance process and assist with the onboarding of new hires.
- Recruitment Strategy & Process Improvement:
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top IT talent in a competitive market.
- Continuously assess and improve recruitment processes to enhance efficiency, candidate experience, and time-to-fill metrics.
- Track and analyze recruitment data to report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, and candidate satisfaction.
- Employer Branding:
- Promote the company’s employer brand by creating engaging job postings, leveraging social media, and participating in industry events.
- Develop relationships with universities, coding bootcamps, and professional organizations to build a talent pipeline.
- Compliance & Documentation:
- Ensure all recruitment activities comply with relevant employment laws and company policies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
Qualifications: - Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in IT recruiting, preferably within the USA.
- Proven track record of successfully recruiting for a variety of IT roles, including software developers, network engineers, system administrators, data scientists, and cybersecurity specialists.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of technical roles, programming languages, software development processes, and IT infrastructure.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment tools like Recruiter, Indeed, and other job boards.
- Experience with Boolean search techniques and other advanced sourcing strategies.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to manage complex offer situations.
- Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with a passion for identifying and hiring top talent.
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience recruiting for both contract and permanent positions.
- Familiarity with visa sponsorship processes and regulations (H-1B, L-1, etc.).
- Experience in a staffing agency or consultancy environment.
- Certification in recruiting or human resources (e.g., AIRS, SHRM, PHR).
