Job Summary: Organization Segment: Order Entry, Order Validation Business Group/Unit: Order Management Industry: Telecom
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Experience managing larger teams of approximately 100 FTEs
- Focused on large and complex deals as the lead for quote-to-order activities
- Involved in planning activities for quote & ordering related to RFP & contract transactions from pre-sales into the Quotation Master Team
- Act as SME for the Quotation Process, providing guidance on BAU activities
- Review quoting and contracting data provided by sales, including product sets for new logos, new orders, move/add/alter, and amendment processes
- Handle escalations both internal and with customers, acting as Escalation POC
- Create quote/contract/order activity within designated systems and hand to back-office quoters
- Serve as the primary interface with customers to secure pricing/quote/order approval
- Progress opportunities through quoting, contracting, and order submission processes
- Meet/exceed quoting, contracting, and order submission Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Interact with all lines of business as required to complete quoting/ordering tasks efficiently
- Assist in prioritizing quoting, contracting, and order submission activities when escalations occur
- Provide SME support, including:
- Creating price quotes for Sales to assist with RFPs for potential new logos/contract requests where no contract is yet established
- Supporting/creating quotes for complex products in collaboration with Solution Architects and Project Management
- Participating in discussions with customers and external partners to digitize their ordering process
Education Requirements:
- Preferred: B. Tech/MBA or Any Graduate
Professional Certifications:
- Preferred: Lean Six Sigma Certification
- Generally requires a B. Tech/MBA or any graduate degree, and/or a minimum of 8-10 years of experience with networks (voice and data) and customer service experience
- SFDC, Quoting, Ordering, and Quotation Workflow Management systems & processes knowledge
