Job Summary:
The Assistant Sales Manager for Tradeshow Space Selling is responsible for supporting the sales team in securing tradeshow space sales. This role involves managing client relationships, assisting in the creation and execution of sales strategies, and ensuring client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, excellent communication skills, and a passion for the tradeshow and events industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Support :
- Assist the Sales Manager in developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve sales targets.
- Identify and contact potential clients to promote tradeshow space opportunities.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor offerings, and potential opportunities.
- Client Relationship Management :
- Maintain and nurture relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Handle client inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
- Ensure all client requirements and expectations are met.
- Sales Administration :
- Prepare sales presentations, proposals, and contracts.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and follow-ups in the CRM system.
- Assist in coordinating tradeshow logistics, including booth assignments and floor plans.
- Collaboration :
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns to attract new clients.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth execution of tradeshow events.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall sales strategy.
- Performance Tracking :
- Monitor and report on sales performance against targets.
- Provide feedback and suggestions for improving sales processes and strategies.
Qualifications:
- Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- Experience :
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in sales, preferably in tradeshow space selling or a related industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Skills :
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
