Job Description:
- Assisting with the identification and documentation of requirements associated with maintenance and development of quality solutions to meet business needs.
- Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders/business users, process owners, subject matter experts, product/program owners, and producing useful reports.
- Meeting with clients to understand their business and process requirements.
- Understanding the as-is process and documenting it if not already available.
- Brainstorming and analytical skills to evaluate and propose multiple solutions for the given problem.
- Aiding the business team in creating documents, including Business Requirement Documents, Solution Requirement Software Requirement Specification, Functional Requirement Specifications, Workflow diagrams, and minutes of meeting as per the brief.
- Translating business requirements into detailed functional specifications and determining the needs of technical documentation.
- Analyzing existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities.
- Collaborating with the team to make products and instructions easier to use.
- Producing high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience.
- Writing easy-to-understand user interface text, online help, and developer guides.
- Creating tutorials to help end-users.
- Ensuring that documentation is up to date with the latest releases and features.
- Working with the Project Manager and business team on transformation and contributing to continuous process improvement initiatives.
- Supporting the Project Manager in delivering the project plan on time and on budget.
- Publishing weekly reports on Project Status to superiors.
Core/Must-have Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing.
- Basic technical knowledge and understanding of web technologies.
- Ability to understand and comprehend client's requirements.
- Ability to curate BRD, SRS, FRD, Workflow diagrams, and MOM.
- Expertise in IT Product/Service Document Management practices.
- Knowledge of MS Visio.
Good-to-Have Skills:
- Knowledge of Swagger or GitHub.
- Knowledge of API documentation.
- Understanding of SDLC.
- Strong writing, verbal communication, and proofreading skills.
Technical Skills:
- Good project management methodologies.
- Interpersonal skills, critical thinking, and strong problem-solving skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Workflow/Flowcharts Tools: Draw.io, Smartdraw, Visio, or similar software.
- IT Management - Team management, SCRUM roles, Development & Deployment, Project/Change Management.
- Domains: E-commerce, Immigration, CRM.
- SDLC Methodologies: Agile SCRUM, Waterfall.
- Documentation: CR, FRS, SRS, Release Note.
- Operating Systems: Windows 7/8/10.
- UML Diagram Tools: Draw.io, Figma, Mockflow, Miro.
- Analysis: Data analysis, System Analysis, Process Analysis.
- Wireframe: Figma, Mockflow, Balsamiq, Miro.
- Tools: Jira or similar project management applications.
