Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Solar Sales Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Roof/ground-mounted solar panel sales, lead generation, and business development within the local region as well as Gujarat. This role involves leveraging your technical expertise and sales acumen to drive new business opportunities and achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Lead Generation: Identify and develop new business opportunities for ground-mounted solar panel systems. Strategize and execute plans to penetrate local markets and expand our client base.
Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients. Conduct engaging product presentations, demonstrations, and site assessments to showcase our solar solutions.
Technical Expertise: Offer technical guidance and support throughout the sales process. Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to develop tailored solutions that meet client requirements and ensure successful project delivery.
Proposal Development: Create and deliver persuasive proposals and quotations. Work closely with the engineering team to ensure accurate technical and financial details.
Market Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions. Use this knowledge to identify opportunities and adapt sales strategies as needed.
Travel Requirements: Regular travel within the local region is required for client meetings, site assessments, and business development activities. Flexibility in travel schedule is essential.
Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and project progress. Provide detailed reports on sales performance and forecasts to management.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of Bachelors in Electrical Engineering/Electronics Engineering/Renewable Energy 1 years of experience in solar sales, with a focus on ground-mounted solar panel systems. Proven track record of generating leads and closing sales in the solar industry. This role requires regular travel to meet clients, assess sites, and drive business growth.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of solar energy systems, including design and performance. Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Sales Skills: Excellent sales and negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Business, or a related field.
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present information clearly and persuasively.
Self-Motivated: Proactive and results-oriented with a strong work ethic. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
