Job Summary:
The Process/Industrial Engineer will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing systems and processes to improve efficiency, quality in the operations of company. The ideal candidate will leverage industrial engineering principles to optimize operations, reduce costs, and enhance overall performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process Analysis and Improvement: Analyze current production processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve quality.
- Conduct time studies and motion analyses to optimize labor utilization.
- Planning and Resource Management: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure that resources are optimally allocated.
- Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Quality Control and Assurance: Implement and monitor quality control processes to ensure products meet required standards.
- Analyze quality data to identify trends and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to resolve production issues and improve product quality.
- Cost Reduction: Identify opportunities to reduce costs through process improvements, waste reduction, and resource optimization.
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses for proposed projects and improvements.
- Lean process and Six Sigma: Apply Lean process and Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement.
- Lead or participate in Kaizen events and other process improvement initiatives.
- Data Analysis and Reporting :Collect and analyze production data to support decision-making.
- Develop reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to management.
- Safety and Compliance :Ensure that all processes comply with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Conduct safety audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Project Management: Manage process improvement projects from concept to implementation.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Arena).
- Strong understanding of Lean process, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies.
- Experience with ERP systems and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Minitab).
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Lean process or Six Sigma (e.g., Green Belt, Black Belt).
- Experience with automation.
- Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
