Job Brief
We are currently hiring an Industrial Relations Manager to join our Human Resources team and be responsible for facilitating relationships with employees and unions with the aim of building a positive and engaged work environment.
Main Responsibilities of Industrial Relations Manager
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Managing relationships with unions & ensuring that the Company's treatment of employees is consistent with its core business values and objectives.
- Handling complaints, managing grievance procedures, and facilitating counseling in conjunction with other stakeholders.
- Investigating and resolving complex or critical industrial relations issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Collating and analyzing employee feedback across all levels on a regular basis and revising people programs and policies to generate more positive outcomes.
- Participating in and/or leading projects focused on continuous improvement.
Key Requirements
- You have a Degree in Human Resources or related fields.
- You have prior experience in employee relations or industrial relations.
- You have strong experience in dealing with unions.
- You possess strong knowledge of HR policies & procedures.
- You have in-depth knowledge of employment legislation.
- You have strong problem-solving, negotiation & influencing skills.
