Responsibilities will include -:
● Accounting & Financial analysis -:
-Monitor financial and business KPIs, highlight trends and analyze causes of variance and costing on monthly/quarterly / year on year
-Drive Quarterly and Monthly Financial reporting, annual budgeting and forecasting process
-Manage/ oversee Revenue/ Accounts Receivables/Expenses/Accounts Payable accounting
● Dashboards & Reporting:
-Independently handle financial reporting, Regulatory Reporting and Management reporting functions
● Taxation & Audits:
-Monitor Taxation (Direct & Indirect Taxation) compliances
-Work with Statutory and other auditors for seamless closure/finalization of year end books
-Co-coordinating with internal auditors/ external auditors for respective areas
● Process improvement:
-Work towards designing & implementing systems, policies & procedures to facilitate internal financial control designing and evaluating Accounting Matrix, SOPs, etc.
-Manage discussions with business teams related to revenue management, pricing & discounts and working capital with a view on the path to profitability
-Work with relevant teams towards sustainable cost reduction methods, policy formulation & standardization in line with industry benchmarks
-Implement significant improvements in accuracy and timeliness of vendor management
● Treasury/ Fund raise:
-Work with Treasury team and facilitate data required for preparing credit proposals for debt raising
● Others:
-Address any ad-hoc requirements from multiple key internal stakeholders (Legal team, Head of Finance, etc.)
To succeed in the role -:
Qualification & Experience
● CA / MBA (Finance) from reputed college / University
● 8-12 years of experience in Financial/NBFC/Banking space; with experience in similar Finance
and accounting roles
Skills & know-how
● Demonstrated leadership – leading Finance sub-functions, problem solving, and managing small
teams
● Experience of handling auditors, and stakeholders (internal & external)
● Knowledge & experience of lending reconciliation process and LMS systems
● Deadline & detail-oriented
● In-depth understanding of process documentation
● Experience in a high velocity, ambiguous environment
● Prioritize, organize, and execute tasks with minimal supervision, with strong analytical skills
● Comfortable to multitask, in pursuit of operational efficiency
● Strong stakeholder management & strong project management skills
