Job Purpose
Development and implementation of communications for the bank supporting the Head of Brand and Corporate Communications for all internal and external communication purposes in English.
Key Result Areas
Developing consistent communications strategy and planning, across channels related to all internal and external channels as required in English.
Work with several key stakeholders for overall plans related to communication
Employee and executive communication
Storytelling, thought leadership and messaging
Culture and change management communication
Digital communication, partnership and channel management
Consulting on communication matters that impact business, growing industry professional expertise
Documenting communications strategy of primary competitors and significant niche players relative to key local banks
Operating Environment, Framework and Boundaries, Working Relationships
Working with relevant stakeholders including corporate affairs, customer experience, business segments, and the Marketing team.
Needs to have a high degree of interaction /skills to manage all relevant stakeholders and understanding of the business for creating the communication.
Problem Solving
Mostly dealing with timely, relevant, right tonality, messaging and communication channels.
Decision Making Authority & Responsibility
Responsible for managing the communications bankwide supporting the HOB&CC
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Excellent command over English.
Strong knowledge of banking, local market environment and major customer segments.
Clear, creative and effective writing style.
Current knowledge of digital communications techniques and social media engagement
Strong project management and communication skills
Ability to lead conversations with stakeholders across the businesses.
8 plus years of banking experience or significant other writing experience.
