**Job Overview:**
Orion Group of Hotels is looking for an experienced and dynamic **Sales Manager** to lead and manage sales efforts at our Mumbai location. The ideal candidate must come from a **hotel background** and have a strong understanding of the hospitality industry. The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue, building relationships with clients, and ensuring the hotel achieves its sales targets.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth for Orion Group of Hotels in the Mumbai region.
- Identify and establish new business opportunities, focusing on both corporate and leisure clients.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and contracts to potential clients, positioning the hotel's unique offerings.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales strategies with promotional campaigns and brand messaging.
- Conduct regular market analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activity.
- Track, monitor, and report on sales performance metrics, ensuring all targets are met or exceeded.
- Represent the hotel at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to increase visibility and brand presence.
- Coordinate with operations, revenue, and front office teams to ensure smooth service delivery and guest satisfaction.
**Required Skills & Experience:**
- **Education:** Bachelor's Degree in Business, Hospitality, or related field is preferred.
- **Experience:** Proven experience in a sales role within the **hospitality industry** is required.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent client management skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of the Mumbai market and existing relationships within the hospitality sector is a plus.
