Role Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and driven Sales Manager to lead our sales team. The role involves managing field sales operations, guiding a team of Business Development Associates across Tamil Nadu, and ensuring that sales targets are met. This position requires a hands-on approach, including occasional field visits to drive team performance and close sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate, and drive the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Present and demonstrate Onwords' automation products, highlighting key features and benefits to potential customers.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure repeat business and referrals.
- Provide continuous feedback to management on customer insights, market trends, and competitor activities.
- Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team.
- Oversee both pre-sales and post-sales operations, ensuring seamless customer service.
- Step in for field visits and direct sales efforts when needed to close deals.
- Prepare and submit sales performance reports and analyses to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Sales Manager (experience in automation products is a plus).
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage, motivate, and guide a team to meet or exceed sales goals.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- High energy, self-motivation, and a customer-first attitude.
- Willingness to travel and occasionally conduct field sales.
