QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: BS Accountancy or Economics or Finance
- Licensure: CPA (preferred but not required)
- Experience: Senior role in FP&A, financial reporting, forecasting and financial modelling experience.

BASIC FUNCTION:
The FP&A Manager’s responsibilities would be to:
- Be a business partner for the entire organization, working closely with various business units, and a strategic advisor to the CFO.
- In partnership with the Business Development Team, build and run financial models to evaluate greenfield, brownfield and acquisition projects, as well as develop numerous sensitivities on the same, including: A.) Collecting and organizing project CAPEX, revenues, operating costs, as well as other assumptions to forecast cash flows and dividends, B.) Conducting valuation, pricing and risk assessments as needed.
- Monitor the actual performance of operating assets and compare the same with the deal’s assumptions to update the project’s financial model.
- Identify and understand business challenges that impact the company’s bottom-line; propose and create solutions based on financial impact.
- Provide FP&A finance support to the accounting and site teams related to budget and reporting in a timely manner.
- Partner closely with the parent company’s finance team to collaborate on budget updates, forecasts, business requirements and business reviews.
- Create presentations for management that provide insightful analysis, identify required action items, and effectively frame decisions to be made.
- Identify and research variances to forecast, budget, and prior-year expenses, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Create budget requests, budget reports and memos addressed to management.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work closely with the leadership team to formulate short- to long-term financial and strategic plans.
- Analyze financial and operational results to better understand the company's overall financial health.
- Regularly monitor and update the company’s financial forecast, and present the same to upper management.
- Respond to requests made by the group company FP&A team on updating financial templates and forecasts.
- In close coordination with the Business Development team, build and run financial models to evaluate greenfield, brownfield and acquisition projects, as well as develop numerous sensitivities on the same, including collection and organization of model assumptions and conduct of valuations if needed.
- Create and lead the preparation of budget memos and presentations, in close coordination with different teams.
- Closely partner and work with the group company’s FP&A team on budget revisions, financial performance updates and relevant approvals (if needed).
- Regularly update management on financial performance of the company.
- Evaluate previous budgets and collaborate with business unit leaders to build their annual budgets and forecasts.
- Produce models to project long-term growth, accounting for factors that will impact performance.
- Provide detailed analysis and commentary on the performance of a product or department.
- Communicate results and recommendations to senior management that will lead to revenue generation, cost reduction and more efficient operations.
- Own the process for preparing financial statements and financial models, including scenario planning.
- Define processes for monthly, quarterly and annual financial budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning.
- Drive and improve existing management reporting to be more accurate and timelier.
- Analyze financial results to determine key takeaways and recommendations for senior management.
- Lead ad hoc financial modeling and reporting for special projects.
- Partner with IT and the broader organization to improve forecasting through automation and system optimization.
