Industrial Cooling Systems Energy Efficiency Specialist, BeeBryte ( is headquartered in France with a subsidiary in Singapore.
We are hiring an experienced, entrepreneurial and results-driven individual to join BeeBryte as a “Regional Head of Sales & Team Leader APAC” and lead our business development and sales efforts in the Asia-Pacific region.
This role is pivotal for driving our growth strategy, expanding our customer base, and reinforcing our market presence.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive “hunter” with a passion for sales, capable of both leading sales reps and engaging in B2B direct sales activities from origination to closing. In addition to the primary sales responsibilities, the candidate will also dedicate 10% of their time to supporting the local team and acting as the office coordinator.
This position can be based in Singapore or in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia).
Responsibilities:
- Sales Leadership: Develop and execute the sales strategy for the APAC region, focusing on business development and revenue growth.
- Business Development: Identify new market opportunities, cultivate relationships with potential clients, drive the sales process from initial contact to contract closure, and foster high performance and up-selling during implementation and operation.
- Sales Team Management: Hire, lead and mentor a team of sales representatives across the region, including 2 sales reps based in Malaysia. Foster a high-performance culture and ensure alignment with company goals.
- Client Engagement: Actively participate in lead generation & sales activities, including prospecting, client meetings, presentations, negotiations and post-sales support. Serve as a key point of contact for major accounts.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: Approach the role with a startup mentality, taking ownership of business outcomes and demonstrating a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
- APAC Team Leader & Office Coordination (10% focus): Collaborate with the local office staff and other departments to ensure seamless operations, effective decision-making and smooth communication in APAC. Act as the senior leader in the office, fostering a positive work environment and listening to team members’ needs. Serve as the point of contact for general management in France, ensuring alignment and coordinating activities.
- Reporting and Analysis: Monitor sales performance, analyze market trends, and provide regular updates and insights to the management team. Adjust strategies as needed to achieve targets.
- Networking: Build and maintain a robust network of industry contacts, partners, and stakeholders to support business growth.
Qualifications:
Proven track record in B2B direct sales and business development in APAC, ideally within the energy, technology, or related sectors.
Experience should be focused on selling a service rather than a product.
Candidates with experience selling only to intermediaries and distribution channels will not be considered.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive and self-motivated approach to driving business success.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Experience in managing cross-functional teams and coordinating activities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of accountability.
Familiarity with the APAC market and willingness to travel extensively within the region as core markets for BeeBryte are mostly outside Singapore (eg. Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines).
A degree in Business is a plus but relevant experience & track record are more important.
Must be authorized to work in Singapore or Malaysia.
