About the role
As Officeworks continues to grow and evolve, our Commercial operating model reflects our vision to modernise and simplify our business.
We are excited to announce a new senior Planning role leading the development and implementation of a sustainable merchandise strategy and plan across the divisions of Technology and Print & Create. Forming the Leadership team within our Merchandise Planning and Enablement function this key role will continue the remarkable momentum our Tech and P&C offers have generated as high performing and innovative business units.
Establishing trade plans with the team and optimising the range and assortment, the focus will be maximising our Return on capital (ROC), whilst growing sales and profitability. This role will lead a team to develop merchandise plans at the category level and below, lead the merchandise budgets and partner cross-functionally to enhance business performance.

About you
This senior Planning leadership opportunity will be driven by a change leader with ability to adapt to new and improved “ways of working”, while supporting the planning team to maximise its potential.
With a solid background in multi-site big box planning management, our candidate will have a solid grasp of merchandise financial planning, range and assortment planning, whilst examples of optimising ROI. Experience in driving the financial forecasting and budgeting process across a wide and complex portfolio to achieve KPIs is sought.
