Help Desk & IT Support (Information & Communication Technology)

This role will see you work from multiple locations across their services as the company implements a new system.
About the opportunity
Are you tech-savvy with a passion for providing exceptional customer service? As an "IT support buddy", you’ll play a vital role in supporting the implementation of a new system across the business, supporting staff along the way.
This is a 6-8 week temporary assignment, working full-time hours, where you will be required to travel to various sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Support: Offer first-level IT support by addressing and resolving incidents and problems efficiently.
- Ensure employees are properly set up with their login credentials, password, and MFA on their personal devices.
- Actively engage with employees to assist in downloading and navigating essential apps: Authenticator, Teams, Outlook, SharePoint (for the intranet), and Smart Spending (for U Rewards).
- Track each employee's progress, confirming they have been successfully set up, so that we can ensure all employees at the service can access our systems.
- Document any employees you’re unable to set up, noting the reasons (e.g., outdated devices, lack of technical skills, etc.).
- Review and troubleshoot kiosk and computer setups on-site, addressing any issues that arise.
- Client Engagement: Maintain strong communication with staff, offering empathy and effective solutions to enhance their experience.
About you
- Experience: At least one year's experience in IT support or a similar role is preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in troubleshooting IT issues, with strong active listening and communication skills.
- Customer Focus: Ability to deliver exceptional service and manage customer expectations.
- Attention to Detail: Capable of accurately recording and prioritizing service requests and incidents.
- Transport: This role will see you service multiple locations, so a car is required.
