PR, Social & Content Marketing Executive
As the PR, Social & Content Marketing Executive, you will support the Brand & Marketing Manager in delivering the marketing communications for Thredbo in line with the overarching Thredbo marketing strategy.
Reporting to the Brand & Marketing Manager, the key focuses of this role include developing and distributing all internal & external content, developing daily real-time weather reports, managing all social channels, and coordinating all PR and communications activity.
In particular, you will be key in continuing to grow customer awareness of Thredbo as Australia’s premier year-round adventure destination across all marketing channels to strengthen the brand nationwide.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver fun, engaging, and relevant content to social media channels with a strong understanding of social media platforms.
- Curate quality content for website, blog articles, and EDMs.
- Manage daily media relations, inquiries, famils, and tactical opportunities.
- Deliver PR campaigns including tactical pitching and media releases, designed to generate positive local and national publicity.
Experience and Skills:
- Strong understanding of the leading social media platforms including a thorough working knowledge of their use for a business organization.
- Solid working knowledge of a range of digital platforms including WordPress, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Analytics, Social Monitoring & Listening Platforms, FB Ads Manager, and Dropbox.
- Familiarity with a customer relationship management (CRM) system and databases.
- Basic copywriting skills.
- Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in a Marketing role and Marketing tertiary qualifications (desirable).
- Digital design skills and experience (desirable).
