What you’ll do at Insight
Solutions Specialists are sales focused technology specialists, who partner with our Sales team and Practice Leads to help identify and win new business opportunities.
Main Functions
- Leading presales and bids for our D365 & PP practice
- Standardizing proposals, bids, and tenders.
- Ensuring coverage for all practice offerings
- Partnering with our Sales team to perform "targeted" prospecting & build pipeline
- Identify and properly qualify opportunities
- Build trusted advisory relationships with strategic accounts
- Develop compelling commercial offers and value propositions
- Provide thought leadership and domain expertise
- Create reusable Practice artefacts to improve quality of proposals & accelerate our Service Levels
- Act as leader for the differentiation of Insight’s technical capability.
- Develop solution knowledge and share this IP both locally and Asia Pacific wide.
- Focus on assisting the practice team to meet the Services Practice’s financial target.
Requirements and skills
Background and Experience
- Strong Pre-Sales experience in a Consulting environment
- Proven experience of supporting sales pursuits resulting in the acquisition of new business.
- Very strong written communication, including production of high-quality technical artefacts and presales contributions (proposals, RFP/RFQ responses and presentations)
- Comfortable with presenting and communicating technical solutions to C-Level Execs
- Excellent client-facing manner
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Interpersonal skills with the ability to develop strong client relationships.
- Strong desire to win new business
- Substantial experience in technical roles within a Services environment.
- Ability to map client’s business needs to Insight’s technology solution offerings.
- Tertiary Education qualifications preferred.
Technical Skills
- Significant expertise designing and delivering solutions using multiple Microsoft Business Applications services (e.g. D365, Dataverse & Power Platform)
- Very highly regarded - experience designing and delivering solutions based on D365 Customer Service, including DCCP (Voice), Customer Insights and Sales.
- Very highly regarded experience designing and delivering solutions based on Power Platform, including Power Pages, Canvas Apps, Model Driven Apps, Power Automate and Copilot Studio.
- Azure Integration Experience with Logic Apps and Azure Functions well-regarded but not essential.
- Power Automate Desktop experience well-regarded but not essential.
- Recent Microsoft Certifications and Exams across D365 and Power Platform essential
