The Team
The Product team is responsible for providing the vision, strategy, and execution that touches the end-to-end lifecycle of customers, internal users & partners across onboarding & acquisition, underwriting & fulfillment, co-lending, collections & servicing.

The Role
The role requires a strong ability to independently assess the context of the problems/ situations and apply sound judgment to decide the right course of action. The individual needs to be proactive and have the acumen to apply first principles thinking in varied situations. This person also needs to demonstrate a tactical approach towards setting the course of Protium’s business strategy and objectives, and love for problem solving.
The role will involve communication with teams across Protium and external partners. There will also be multiple priorities to manage. Clear and precise communication skills will be required as well as the ability to independently craft solutions using exceptional problem solving and data analytics skills instead of seeking constant direction. You will also need to explain the technical challenges, approach, and solutions to non-technical audiences.
You'll take the wheel of a complex, business-critical charter and have high impact on business. An ability to follow the standard operating procedures, owning the tasks and escalations end to end, and the drive to bring cases to conclusion will be important requirements for this role.

Responsibilities
Product Strategy and Vision:
- Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy aligned with the company's goals and market needs.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and gaps in the market.
Product Development:
- Lead the end-to-end product development process, from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, marketing, and sales to define product requirements and specifications.
Roadmap Management:
- Create and maintain a detailed product roadmap that outlines key milestones, deliverables, and timelines.
- Prioritize product features and enhancements based on business objectives, customer feedback and market trends.
Performance Monitoring:
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct regular product performance reviews and present findings to senior management.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment on product goals, priorities, and timelines.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between different departments to drive product success.
Customer Focus:
- Gather and analyse customer feedback and insights to continuously improve the product.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the user experience and increase customer satisfaction.
Market Trends and Innovation:
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in product management.
- Drive innovation by identifying and implementing new technologies and methodologies to enhance product offerings.

Minimum Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in product management, preferably within the financial services industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in quantitative field or business. MBA is a plus.
- Strong understanding of product development lifecycle, agile methodologies with a proven track record of successfully launching and managing products from inception to market.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders at all levels to drive results.
- Solid data analysis skills and willingness to do hands-on analysis and data pulls.
- Experience with market research, user testing, and A/B testing.
- Proficiency in product management tools such as JIRA, Trello, or similar platforms.
