Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) with a strong understanding of the Finacle Core Banking Systems . You will play a critical role in ensuring the optimal performance, availability, security, and integrity of our Finacle database on the Oracle platform.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the Finacle database on the Oracle platform, including installation, configuration, performance optimization, security administration, backup and recovery, and patching.
- Perform regular health checks and identify potential performance bottlenecks.
- Implement strategies to optimize database performance and ensure responsiveness to user queries.
- Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive financial data.
- Perform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures to ensure data availability in case of any unforeseen events.
- Apply Oracle database patches and upgrades in a timely and controlled manner.
- Work closely with Finacle application teams to troubleshoot database-related issues and ensure smooth system operation.
- Provide technical support to business users on database-related inquiries.
- Maintain detailed documentation of database configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest Oracle technologies and Finacle database best practices.
Qualifications:
- 6 - 8 years of experience as an Oracle DBA .
- Working knowledge of the Finacle Core Banking Systems and its database structure is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in administering large and complex databases.
- In-depth knowledge of Oracle database architecture, administration tools, and utilities (e.g., SQL*Plus, PL/SQL, Oracle Enterprise Manager).
- Strong understanding of database security principles and best practices.
- Experience with backup and recovery procedures.
- Experience with database performance tuning techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
