IT Engineers (6 Positions - Desktop Engineering) Contract Duration: 28 October 2024 - 31 March 2025
Location: Sussex (East and West), including Brighton and Hove
Hours: Full-time (7.5 hours/day, Monday to Friday)

Overview: We are seeking experienced IT Engineers to join a project aimed at streamlining IT equipment in GP practices across Sussex. The role involves conducting audits, installing and configuring IT hardware and software, and providing technical support. Engineers will work in teams of three, reporting to a Team Leader.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct site audits of IT equipment at GP practices (1-2 days per practice).
- Install, reimage, and configure existing and new IT equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with endpoint devices and printers.
- Collaborate with remote support teams to confirm correct app server configurations.
- Complete and submit documentation, including progress reports and asset reports.
- Provide post-implementation floorwalking support to staff.
Skills and Experience:
- Degree in IT or equivalent experience in desktop engineering.
- Strong understanding of MS Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, Windows 10 and 11.
- Experience with clinical software such as EMIS and TPP SystmOne.
- Familiarity with network and hardware architecture.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work in high-pressure environments.
Travel Requirements:
The role requires travel across multiple locations in East and West Sussex.
