Role Overview: The Tender Manager/Executive will be responsible for managing and coordinating the end-to-end tendering process. This includes identifying tender opportunities, preparing and submitting tender documents, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and requirements. The candidate should have 3-4 years of experience in tender management, preferably within the government or corporate sector.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Tender Identification and Evaluation: o Monitor various platforms (GeM, eProcurement portals, etc.) for relevant tender opportunities. o Evaluate tender documents to understand requirements, scope, and potential risks. o Conduct feasibility analysis to determine the company's ability to meet tender requirements.
2. Tender Preparation: o Collaborate with internal teams (technical, legal, finance) to gather necessary information for bid preparation. o Prepare detailed tender documents, including technical proposals, financial bids, and compliance documents. o Ensure that all documentation is accurate, complete, and submitted within deadlines.
3. Bid Management: o Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure that all aspects of the bid are aligned with company goals and client expectations. o Manage the submission process, ensuring all bids are submitted correctly and on time. o Handle post-submission clarifications and negotiations, if required.
4. Compliance and Risk Management: o Ensure that all tender submissions comply with legal, regulatory, and company requirements. o Identify potential risks in the tendering process and develop strategies to mitigate them.
5. Relationship Management: o Maintain relationships with key clients, vendors, and stakeholders involved in the tendering process. o Provide regular updates to senior management on tender progress and outcomes.
6. Documentation and Reporting: o Maintain accurate records of all tender documents, correspondence, and submissions. o Prepare regular reports on tender activities, outcomes, and performance metrics. o Responsible for all payment follow ups till final billing along with EMD & Security Money
Key Skills and Competencies: • Experience: 3-4 years in tender management, preferably in government or corporate sectors. • Knowledge: Familiarity with tendering platforms like GeM, eProcurement portals, and understanding of tendering regulations. • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and experience with e-tendering software. • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and persuasively.
Qualifications:
• Any Bachelor’s degree/Postgraduate.
• Certification in Tender Management or related areas is a plus
