The role in a nutshell: Lead the organisational transformation across the One Toyota teams for the KINTO One product. An effective member of the Operational Leadership Committee and both accountable and responsible for the strategy, targets, management and performance of KINTO One in the UK. This role also has overall accountability for the KINTO One portfolio which encompasses Sales & Marketing, Product, Channel Development, Aftersales and the Value Chain management and experience.
A bit about the ‘KINTO One’ department: The KINTO One team has a customer-centric approach to vehicle leasing and fleet management, catering to both individual drivers and businesses. Our team is committed to delivering quality and a great customer experience, continually enhancing our product portfolio to meet evolving market demands and customer needs.
What you’ll be doing:
Strategic Roadmap Development: formulate and drive the KINTO One strategic roadmap, aligning targets with 3 and 5-year business plans.
Partnership Representation: act as the strategic representative for KINTO One with key partners, including participation in quarterly Sales and Marketing meetings with One Toyota.
Collaboration, Market Analysis and Product development: Collaborate with One Toyota and KINTO Europe, while considering the UK market and competitor landscape. Utilise market research to enhance and expand our portfolio of products and services in response to evolving client needs.
Toyota One Plan Integration: contribute to the broader Toyota One Plan with strategic insights and initiatives.
Programme Contributions: provide strategic input into the "Fleet for the Future" and the "Franchise for the Future" programs.
Cross-functional Collaboration: work closely with KINTO One Collections Management, Credit Control, Senior Manager of the Innovation team, and the KINTO EU Mobility team to ensure cohesive strategy execution.
Committee Participation: attend with active contribution to key committees such as the Residual Value Committee, the TGB Fleet Commercial Committee to fully secure the KINTO Sales & Marketing plan and the Operational Leadership Committee to influence the decision-making processes. Play a key role One Toyota Customer Services board to drive customer excellence.
Strategy Assistance: assist in developing and implementing the multi-path strategy for KINTO One.
Financial Accountability: oversee department Hoshin initiatives, ensuring overall financial performance and achievement of associated targets.
Customer Ownership Strategy: collaborate with the KINTO Multi Brand Sales Director to define a clear ownership strategy for shared customers.
Compliance and Quality Assurance: ensure compliance with regulatory requirements to develop, support and enhance quality processes to ensure great customer outcomes.
Team Leadership: attract, develop, and retain talent to continuously deliver industry-leading customer service.
Customer Service Development: direct and lead the development of customer service excellence for KINTO One working across One Toyota and the dealer Networks.
Key Experience & Skills:
- Demonstrated experience in achieving sales targets by leveraging all available skills and information to optimise strategies and drive results.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing long-term business strategies.
- Experience in fleet management and vehicle leasing.
- Strong leadership experience, with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong customer service orientation and commitment to delivering excellent customer outcomes.
- Experience in conducting market research and analysing competitor landscapes.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements within the automotive and mobility sectors.
